Starting A New Series

This spring while still in Blackpool, England, I've started a new project or series I'm currently calling Drawing on Receipts. Instead of just throwing away shopping receipts, I decided to draw on them. This image is of the first one I tried, and it was also my first use of oil sticks. I really liked the ease and look of it, so I've continued to work with that medium.
