About 7 x 5 inches, gesso, acrylic, oil stick, and ink pen on reused product packaging paperboard. I'm currently in Amsterdam painting in a rented apartment in De Pijp neighborhood.

Near my temporary home in Amsterdam, the large supermarket has an old wooden bookshelf in the entry way with books and other things people leave there. You can exchange or take things for free. This book is one of the things I've taken. I must remember to leave some things there before I move away.

I chose the first page of chapter 4, applied a thin coat of acrylic gesso, and the next day drew with oil stick and added some acrylic paint. I also wrote the chapter title in English in ink pen. This is in Dutch, which I do not speak. I used an AI translator on my phone for that one line. The page is about 9 x 6 inches.

This shopping list was left in the basket I picked up at a supermarket in Blackpool, UK sometime around May. It's small, about 3 x 2 inches. Unprimed, unflattened paper with graphite pencil and colored pencil.
